Claudia Hird

I'm an independent thinker with degrees in environmental science, social science, and marine/Antarctic science, offering a collaborative, adaptable, and safety-conscious approach to scientific work. Passionate about sustainability, conservation, and cultural inclusivity, I thrive both in the field and lab. As an early career researcher, I’m driven by a deep personal interest in science and the environment. Outside of work, I love traveling and connecting with nature. Born in Australia on International Women’s Day, I value work-life balance and advocate for greater support for women in STEM.
